Book Bunch Club

On November 10th, the Book Bunch Book Club was honored to be part of a special event hosted by the library, featuring Lisa Baer, who shared her powerful firsthand account of her life and experiences during the Holocaust. The library extended the invitation beyond our club, welcoming other Social Studies and English classes and even libraries from different schools to participate in this memorable gathering. Ms. Baer spoke movingly about her childhood and the terrifying events she witnessed, giving a poignant testimony of surviving the violence of Kristallnacht. Hearing her personal story of persecution, escape, and resilience provided an invaluable and deeply human perspective on this history, leaving a profound impact on the entire assembled community.
